Red Fort in Delhi
Delhi’s Red Fort was constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughul Emperor Shah Jahan and remain the residence of the Muhgul Emperors until 1856. The Red Fort covers an area of 1,03,0612.93 square metres surrounded by a defensive wall 2.41 km long with turrets up to 33 metres tall. This is a massive building and simply its size along makes the Red Fort worth visiting.
